Shipping policy

1  –  GENERAL SHIPPING TERMS

House of Cha ships exclusively through reputable third‑party carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL). All shipments are FOB origin (Incoterms® 2020)—title and risk of loss transfer to you the moment we hand the sealed cartons to the carrier.

IMPORTANT: By placing an order you acknowledge and agree that House of Cha is not liable for any damage, loss, delay, theft, or mishandling that occurs in transit. Your sole remedy for shipping‑related issues is to file a claim directly with the carrier.


2  –  SHIPPING & TRANSIT TIMES

  • Processing time: Orders ship Monday–Friday (excluding U.S. federal holidays) within 1‑3 business days.

  • Estimated transit: 2‑7 business days within the continental U.S. International delivery times vary by destination and customs processing.

  • No guaranteed delivery dates. Carrier service disruptions, weather events, labor shortages, or customs delays are beyond our control.


3  –  DAMAGED PACKAGES

  1. Inspect on arrival. Visually inspect all cartons before signing for, or accepting, delivery.

  2. Document the damage. Take clear photographs of the outer box, shipping label, inner cushioning, and affected cans within 24 hours of delivery.

  3. Keep all packaging. Carriers typically require the original box and contents for inspection.

  4. File a carrier claim. Initiate a damage claim directly with the carrier using their online portal or customer‑service line. Provide your tracking number and supporting photos.

House of Cha does not issue refunds, replacements, or credits for damage that occurs after the package leaves our facility. Carrier decisions regarding reimbursement are final and outside our authority.


4  –  LOST, STOLEN, OR RETURN‑TO‑SENDER PACKAGES

  • Lost in transit: File a tracer or missing‑mail request with the carrier.

  • Marked delivered but not received: Check with household members, neighbors, and the carrier. If unresolved, open a theft claim with the carrier and, if applicable, local authorities.

  • Returned to sender: Packages returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal, or failure to pick up are subject to re‑shipment fees. Original shipping charges are non‑refundable.


5  –  INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & CUSTOMS

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and brokerage fees. If your parcel is held or seized by customs, House of Cha bears no responsibility and cannot issue refunds.


6  –  ADDRESS ACCURACY

We print shipping labels exactly as entered at checkout. Verify that your street address, unit/suite number, and postal code are correct. House of Cha is not liable for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.


7  –  WEATHER HOLDS & HEAT SENSITIVITY

During extreme heat or cold, we may at our sole discretion delay shipment to protect product quality. Such holds do not constitute missed deadlines and are not grounds for cancellation.
